FAG Truck Axle Module (TAM)

Since wheel bearings and wheel bearing units for commercial vehicles (CVs) absorb all dynamic driving forces, these components are classed as relevant to safety. These bearings are also subject to stringent requirements in terms of service life, reliability and the need to be maintenance-free.

 

The FAG Truck Axle Module (TAM) is a complete wheel hub, consisting of a hub flange, integrated taper roller bearings and an ABS encoder ring that is preassembled at the factory. What is more, the FAG TAM already features a recess for the brake disk and the wheel carrier.

FAG CV Repair Insert Unit (RIU)

Product Description:

 

The FAG Repair Insert Unit (RIU) is a repair solution developed by Schaeffler for the garage. It consists of two preassembled taper roller bearings that are joined by means of a retaining ring after installation. The FAG RIU is lubricated for life and sealed against contamination. The associated special tool is included in the scope of delivery.

FAG SmartSet

Ready to fit repair solution for truck and trailer wheel bearings

Product Description:

​

The majority of wheel bearing repairs for trucks, trailers and buses are still made using conventional tapered roller bearings in cumbersome and time-consuming labor steps associated with numerous sources of error.

Schaeffler with its brand FAG has been OE supplier to nearly all global truck and axle manufacturers for decades. For aftermarket workshops we are now offering a completely new and unique repair solution for damaged wheel hubs.

FAG SmartSET consists of two pre-assembled bearing units (inboard/outboard), special tools and a non-verbal fitting instruction.

Bearing units are ready to fit, lifetime lubricated and factory pre-set. The new pushfit bearing design is self -centering and allows easy fitting to the axle stub without jamming.

FAG CV Standard Taper Roller Bearing

Product Description:

​

The FAG standard taper roller bearing (TRB) for commercial vehicles consists of an outer ring, an inner ring with rolling elements and a cage. It is supplied as two loose individual parts. The outer ring and inner ring are removed and installed separately from one another. The bearing is neither greased nor sealed.
